Have you ever heard of Influenster Vox Boxes?

I have personally used and have LOVED the Gillette Venus razors for YEARS and after trying this one, I have to say it is my absolute favorite for a few reasons.  

• My skin tends to get very dry due to the very inconsistent and forever changing Texas weather!  This product is the perfect fit because it helps to get a closer shave without causing irritation or redness.  
• The 5-blade feature is one I have always loved about Venus.  I believe it is the first one I ever tried with that many blades.  That one feature alone helps to avoid nicks!  
• The protective ribbon of moisture is an added bonus as it helps to moisturize the skin while shaving...which is perfect for my dry skin!  

All in all I highly recommend this product and am thankful I got to try it out!  Thank you Gilette Venus & Influenster for giving me this opportunity to share this product! 

Kiss Everlasting French Nails review

I received the Kiss Everlasting French nails courtesy of Influenster.  Not familiar with Influenster?  Check out my previous blog!

The kit comes with 28 nails so that anyone who purchases will be able to find the nails that fit their needs!  If they don't fit just right, you can file them down to do so.  It also comes with glue, a cuticle stick, and a nail file!

This kit was very easy to use.  I applied moisturizer after using...hence the shiny hand in the picture above.  The nails are a little bit long for my liking so I'm going to be purchasing this kit in the shorter nail version!!

The kit claims the nails will last for at least 7 days with no chipping.  I must say the glue is VERY strong and a little goes a VERY long way!!!

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an at-home, affordable, easy to use kit for your nails!!!

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Review

Playtex has always been my favorite brand for...that time of the month, particularly the sport collection.  

What I love about this new addition is how comfortable, lightweight, and fresh this product feels.  It is virtually undetectable which makes doing normal activities, or ones that require a bit more...like chasing around a 5-year old...just that much easier.

I would highly recommended this product.  I got it courtesy of Influenster through the Spring Vox Box.

Keeping it basic

Lately I've been using the same few favorites every day to create a quick look.  The Naked Basics eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay is the perfect little palette for travel...and mixing it with other palettes and products.  

Below is a look I did today, I just popped a bit of teal eyeshadow from the Urban Decay electric palette under the lower lash line for a pop of color.  

I have been using the Rimmel scandaleyes eyeliner in Nude for my water line to make my eyes look more awake.  It's the perfect creamy consistency.  It does not transfer onto my contacts, which often happens with eyeliners I use on my lower water line.  I have also been LOVING the Too Faced "Better Than Sex" mascara.  It gives my lashes length and volume.  Also featured above is an eyeliner duo from Urban Decay.  I love to use the lighter shade in my inner corner, and the darker shade on my lower lash line.

Flawless makeup tip: Makeup Brushes

The key to flawless makeup application is brushes!  I first discovered makeup brushes from Victoria's Secret years ago and have since expanded my collection tremendously.  

Tonight I picked up 2 brush sets at Ross for $7.99 each!  They remind me of the Real Techniques brush sets, for half the cost!  I couldn't pass the up.  I also picked up 3 individual brushes from Target.  I got an ELF Concealer brush, an Up & Up Foundation brush and a Sonia Kashuk blending brush.

I love purchasing and trying out different makeup brushes.  Some of my favorite brands to use are ELF, EcoTools, and Sigma.  I am very excited to try these out and hope they live up to my expectations.  From first impression they seem like they will be excellent additions to my already extensive brush collection!!
